Head of Raw Materials Quality Control Laboratory

Afzaliyat Group LLC, a manufacturer of baby diapers under the “Comfort Baby” brand, is announcing a vacancy for the position of Head of Raw Materials Quality Control Laboratory.

Job Responsibilities:

• Managing the laboratory: organizing and ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the department (supervising laboratory assistants and chemists);
• Incoming quality control: organizing and conducting testing of raw materials (cellulose, superabsorbent polymer (SAP), nonwoven materials, adhesive compounds) in accordance with GOST and international standards;
• Equipment management: monitoring the condition of laboratory equipment, calibration, and procurement of new equipment;
• Reporting: maintaining documentation in accordance with the Quality Management System (ISO 9001);
• Contract duration — 1 year.

Requirements:

• Higher specialized education in chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, or quality management;
• Mandatory knowledge of Russian and English languages at B2 level or higher;
• At least 3 years of experience in a managerial position within a laboratory
  (experience in FMCG, healthcare, chemical industry, or light industry will be considered an advantage);
• Knowledge of standards and understanding of quality control principles for polymer materials, absorbents, and textiles;
• Personal qualities: exceptional attention to detail, strong commitment to quality standards, and systematic thinking;
• Knowledge of modern laboratory analysis methods and laboratory equipment fundamentals;
• Strong sense of responsibility and organizational skills;
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
